www.5dimes.eu is well known for offering industry leading betting odds. This is especially true on future bets such as which team or player will win a season long championship. Today they released Formula 1 odds on the 2015 World Drivers’ Championship and 2015 World Constructors’ Championship. The odds at the time of opening for the drivers’ championship are as follows.
The above odds are listed in American odds format, which is the format 5Dimes operates with. To see these as fraction or decimal odds you can use our odds converter. They carry a $250 maximum per bet limit, but punters can make as many maximum bets as they would like. If making multiple max bets, you might need to wait just a few minutes for your limits reset. Also, chances are the odds will move slightly with each maximum bet made. This is a very reputable site you can read about in our 5Dimes review.
Here at SBS we have a lot of valuable content on F1 betting. Our calendar in this section has links to every circuit. Each circuit page has a write up on this season’s race. On the bottom of our page on betting F1 race winners, we have links to pages on specific top drivers and top constructors. There is a lot of information on these pages that is helpful towards tipping winners.
For the type of sports bettors that mostly bets props and small markets, F1 offers even more value. It is an excellent sport to learn if your betting limit ranges are such that prop betting still worth your time. With this sport you can bet what are essentially main markets that function much like props.
Most of these 5Dimes F1 odds shared are considerably better than the ones found at OddsChecker. There are however some exceptions, so it is important to compare the odds before placing bets.
015 F1 Betting Tips
As for my own tips, I’m on Fernando Alonso this season, having gotten him early at 15/1. It is too soon for my preferences to place additional bets on the favorites. I must admit though both Lewis Hamilton -130 (UK: 10/13, Dec 1.77) and Nico Rosberg +325 (UK: 13/4 / Dec: 4.25) are tempting odds.
These two drivers are teammates that finished 1 and 2 last season. Their Mercedes F1 team won the World Constructors’ Championship in a landslide. This season they debut their F1 W06 Hybrid car which should be even better than what they used last season. Meanwhile, Red Bull F1 has a young team, and Ferrari F1 is likely in a rebuilding year. McLaren-Honda could possibly contend, but I have who should be their top driver at big odds already.
For those willing to lock up money, sort of in what is like a high risk savings account, I think taking Lewis Hamilton at -130 is an okay bet to make. There will be plenty of opportunities to find value betting Nico Rosberg other ways this season. The same of course applies for every other driver. Lewis Hamilton will be favored in most races and thus will be difficult to bet with value any other way.
